Why wouldn't Zetsu help dying Obito?

Now if Zetsu was Kaguya's will the whole time then why didn't he help Obito when he latched himself on his body or could it be that he was helping him the whole time and deliberately allowing Obito to control him?

Thats cuz Obito was defeated and he didnt complete the moon plan.Thus he become useless to BZ .
