Why would Tobirama even invent Edo-Tensei?

It's somehow like the same base as cloning. Cloning reasearching has been made because some wanted for the dearest ones to be around more. Well, I pretty much think it's the same base in Nidaime's ninjutsu... so, why not?

I wrote a thread on this. I do NOT believe Tobirama invented Edo Tensei in order to revive shinobi with SACRIFICES. Its not the Senju Love way of living.


I believe that Edo Tensei was created to revive only one person, Hashirama. Furthermore, the dead body (DNA) of hashirama should have enough "life force" that is usually needed with a living sacrifice in order to bring himself back to life. In other words, no living sacrifice was needed during the original time the jutsu was created, it was created by Tobirama to revive his brother and he did this feat with the LIVING ENERGY OF HASHIRAMA'S DEAD BODY. His dead body was still imbued with life force, as proved by present day shinobi (Tobi, Danzo, Madara, Zetsu, etc)

Who knows what his original reasoning was behind creating it. But it's pretty obvious he saw the flaws/evil in it which is why he made it a forbidden jutsu.

It's powerful. To have that kind of trump card could be very useful.

And I think the reason his version was imperfect was because he didn't try to use human sacrifices. That would go along with the general concensus that he was a "good guy" and also give a reason why the jutsu didn't work properly for him. Just my own theory.

the technique isnt evil, but my guess would probly to see his brother or ask him for help. but the technique was also good, cause instead of killing his enemies he can capture them and use them as a sacrifice
