Why would Obito save Sasuke?

Was he going to use Sasuke as a host for something

He doesn't have Kurama's Yin Chakra.... The Reaper formerly had it, all Uchiha are Yin Centered Shinobi due to their eyes. But he wanted to use Sasuke as a vassal to even out the playing field, I would guess. He wanted to manipulate Sasuke to the point where he would never become a threat.

I think he wanted to get sasuke out the way.

If sasuke thought he was kind of not an enemy, then he wouldn't go crazy and attack tobi for any reason.

However... I think obito is to blame for some of sasukes' feelings, so we'll see how that goes.
