Why would madara lose rinnegan?

Assuming that Madara is still alive, why would he lose his rinnegan? So many people seem to think that he will.

I can understand why he would not have the 9 tomoe rinnegan, but how would he lose his purple rinnegan?

Some people say it is because he no longer has Hashirama's sage mode, but that does not matter. You don't need senjutsu to have rinnegan.

Some say it is because he doesn't have Hashirama's DNA anymore. First of all, I don't think that is true. Even if the Hashirama face is not there, I don't see how you can just up and take DNA from someone.

Also, it was not really Hashirama's DNA that gave him rinnegan. It was actually Indra and Ashura's combined chakaras. As long as Madara still has his chakara, he still has both requirements.

Even if he for some reason doesn't have those chakaras, once the rinnegan is already created, it doesn't matter if you have those chakaras or not. How do I know this? It is because...

Nagato was able to wield the rinnegan and he had neither Indra nor Ashura's chakaras (unless the eye itself counts as having Indra's. Even if this is the case, he did not have Ashura's.).

Therefore, I don't see why people think Madara would lose his rinnegan.

Yeah, i don't get it. It's technically a part of him now. He gave them to Nagato when he had them as an old man and retrieved them after his Revival which should have made them stay in that state.

9T rinnegan can cast infinite tsukuyomi which oneshots anyone (including purple rinnegan users) that does not have a rinnegan susanoo.
It also warps dimensions that can be rewritten at will. This also allows one to use go home no jutsu in which the user just changes the dimension and then goes home leaving the opponent trapped in the other dimension to starve (that is if they don't fall in the lava or acid or get crushed by gravity or something like that).

Madara should still have rinnegan. As stated by Tobirama, the visual appearance change of the Uchiha eye is a manifestation of changes in the brain.

For wireless Susano'o to make sense (as previously performed by Madara when he had no eyes), then it would follow that those brain changes are responsible for the ability to perform at least some of the eye-related techniques.

Once the brain is changed, the eye should not be able to revert to its previous state.
