Can anybody give me legitimate and explainable reason as to how Naruto would develop the Rinnengan. No fanboying, outright stupidity, but solid logic as to why Naruto would develop the rinnengan.:leaf:

He possesses Rikudou's chakra & the Bijuu's, it was confirmed when the Juubi saw it inside him

I believe Rikudou awakened the Rinnegan once he became the Juubi's jinchuriki

Before that, he was an Uzumaki with immense chakra, life force and fuinjutsu that his clan specialized in. After fighting the Juubi and becoming it's jinchuriki, he awakened the Rinnegan.

It's like how Naruto has whiskers from Kurama, Gaara manipulates sand, Han has steam, Fu can fly, etc. They all have traits from their Bijuu.

So Naruto could potentially awaken the Rinnegan once Rikudou's chakra is activated

Doesn't the fact that when the juubi saw the sage's chakra within naruto the Silhouette had the Rinnengan prove that the Sage had the Rinnengan when they fought.
