I kind of understand for Naruto you could say it was to protect him from Minato's enemies. Although they could've given him an unrelated name altogether. However for Naruto's children that makes no sense since there's no Kamikaze danger for them the world is at peace at that time if anything using Uzumaki likely endangers them.
