Why were the 4th personal bodygaurds hiding all this time?

I mean this would of helped Naruto out a lot. Plus where were they when Minato was attacked? :shrug: Some bodygaurds right? They should of known that Minato's was going to have a kid so that the Flying Thunder God technique would of been passed down. But i bet the Kishi just put them in at the last moment for the Kage's to fight Madara.

Because according to the databook those elite guards were only 14 year old Chunins at the time of the attack, and Kishi just made the personal body guard shit up at the last second to get Mei on the battlefield like he did Dans spirit transformation jutsu.

^Haha wow i hadn't noticed that. Aren't the Anbu Black ops supposed to be the hokages guards? Just another thing that Kishi rushed into to make the plot move along i guess.
