She sacrificed herself to save naruto in the pain arc. What's sakura ever done for him like that? Lie about how she loves him?

She didn't rush in to save him. She just wanted him to know she loves him before they die. It was pretty selfish of her (her own words) to run out and put that much pressure on him. Same for how that fake confession was stupid for Sakura.

OT: Really... Gotta down talk other characters to make Hinata look good. Typical and pathetic.

She didn't save anyone. She didn't even help. In the manga all she did was get hit by Pain.

Sakura on the other hand kept Naruto alive with her bare hands U_U

Hinata's annoying as shit. Where was she in aaaaaaaall of Part 1 when Naruto was struggling, huh? The one time she provided Naruto any kind of moral encouragement was the Chuunin exams, and even that was inadvertent. Ride or die my ass.

Thing is, the only thing she cares about is Naruto-kun. That's it. She has no other aspects to her personality, none whatsoever. The first thing she thought about when Neji died was Naruto-kun. She can't live without Naruto-kun. At least Ino and Sakura have their rivalry and their desire to be something, as well as Ino having her father die recently and actually MOURNING him. Hinata is a shit character.

I'm still waiting for a counter to this. I just don't see the appeal in Hinata's character.

Did not have to read past point 1 : Hinata is a fangirl over Naruto, so just don't. I did not even have to read anymore.

Is it really worth trying to counter against someone who says Hinata didn't mourn Neji?

Is it really worth it to waste my time on someone who believes Hinata has no goal outside of Naruto?

Is it really worth it to spend my energy to explain how much people underrate hinata's past?

Nobody cares. U_U Only haters do. She doesn't just fawn over Naruto. She makes her ninja way the same, meaning she's also all about not giving up, which doesn't necessarily mean for Naruto. She's meant to have Naruto as her main focus, but who really gives a darn? That doesn't mean that's the only aspect to her personality, just the one most visible, but haters confuse the most noticeable for the one one.

I like Hinata, but some fans like you are the worst. Explain to me why do you guys bash Sakura do you see Sakura threads bashing on Hinata no. It's pathetic and stupid you can't support your own character without bashing on others. Even Tenten fans do not bash on others, heck Madara/Itachi/Sasuke fanboys even the FAPBOYS don't bash on others most of the time.

sakura sucks, and yea madara, itachi fans say there fav shits on everyone

lmao sasuke fanboys dont bash on characters? lmao they say it all the time where have you been

and again sakura sucks

Yes, it would be if you like Hinata and didn't agree with his post.

She has the goal of getting Naruto and following his nindo way. Her entire being is based around Naruto's nindo way...im sorry but there isn't any other way to look at it. She didn't jump out in front of Pein to protect him, she jumped out there to make her love known..just like Sakura used the last possible moment she had to tell Sasuke how he felt, not really caring about Sasuke's feelngs. Im not saying Hinata doesn't care about Naruto's feelings, I give Hinata more credit than most..but she knows he likes Sakura and she would be fine with them being together if that made Naruto happy. That is true love, just like when Naruto said he would be ok as long as Sakura was happy. Thats the selfless part of Hinata, not jumping out in front of pain or fixing his shoulder or whatever.

She didnt mourn Neji's death. It was an absolute insult the way she basically got wet over Naruto after losing the family member that saved her life. She slapped Naruto repeated Neji's words and then focused on the fact she was holding Naruto's hand! I was mortified for Hinata that Kishi portrayed her in such a way. Yeah she was shown crying a little but that was it. She should have been holding Neji and thinking about the fact her cousin just gave his life away for her crush to hopefully come true. It was sad.

What is underrated about her past? She was basically raised a princess for one, yes her dad gave and Neji gave her a hard time about being a better ninja but lets face it..part 1 Hinata could never be a decent ninja in the real world. She is too nice and sweet to be of use and she isn't confident enough to be a leader. In the world they were raised, sadly those are important points and thankfully Kishi has developed her into more of a kunoichi that could possibly take on the Hyuga responsibility. Her past however was absolutely no where near as dreadful as someone like Naruto's, Gaara's, Sasuke's, or Kakashi's life and to compare their lives is insulting almost. Naruto, despite having this rich princess like character like him, never acknowledged or noticed she liked him until her pein confession. What does that tell us? Hinata wasn't around in the younger days. She stayed hidden and liked him from a distance, which is cute but she could have done more as a character to make Naruto's life better (like talk to him, or encourage him just once that someone didn't think he was a beast) and as she got older she hasn't helped make Naruto's life any easier either. She didn't protect him against Pein, she almost killed everyone because she thought they were gonna die. She called this herself a selfish move..so no one can argue it wasn't.

If you disagree, I would like to know why. I mean, I am seriously not trying to be mean but she isn't quite as heavenly as some fans act (if your just talking about her actions and character, not her body) She's had her moments as a side character and her development recently, and Kishi should stop now before he destroys her.

Yeah, agreed for sure. Hinata has faults but so does the other females....don't get me started on the Sakura confession, though i do think i see what Kishi did there....he certainly wrote it terribly. Her intentions were amazing, the way it was portrayed though......*shudders*

Well the confession was ****ed up. He could have done a better job with another way to persuade naruto.

Hinata doesn't care about anything that doesn't have anything to do with Naruto even if it's her cousin who cares about her more than anyone else. It's really sad how she quickly got over Neji's death the second Naruto's hand touched hers.
