[Discussion] Why wasn't Obito resurected?

Well, really, I see people saying that it's because he was weak and just a kid but... Kakashi is a dangerous ninja. Kabuto should've known that, and Obito would've been nice to see him meet Obito again, and be forced to fight him... would Kakashi have had the heart to strike him down?


Dan wasn't strong, but he was brought back.

Was it just because Kakashi and him had all the closure they needed?

Finding his DNA was difficult (or his skills/abilities were not needed). However, It would be necessary for Psychological Warfare used against Kakashi as he was a Captain of the Joint Army.

And why waste concentration on a ninja to take JUST Kakashi down? Just put the Third Raikage against Kakashi, or someone whose actually strong...

i think because the other side of his body was crushed and he wasnt that important. kabuto ressurected all those shinobi because they are strong and they are going to hurt their opponent emotionally which will make their opponent resisting to fight. like how choji couldnt fight asuma.

I guess you guys have a point about Dan's ghost making him strong and all... it makes sense.
He wouldn't have Mangekyo, like Kakashi, since Edo brings them back how they were when they died.
The only jutsu we ever saw Obito show off was his Fireball and talk no jutsu...

I guess, as an Obito fan, I was just disappointed I didn't get to see him again xD

because he isnt strong enough and he is hate it or not a huge candidate for the idenity of tobi. bringing him back would destroy one of the biggest theories for tobi and ruin alot of suspense for tobis idenity. not to mention obito is an obvious canidate and can be used to lead you off tobi being another character and can be used for many plot twists regarding tobi. revivng him would lose alot of plot material

I am pretty Sure Dan was a pretty strong Ninja - like Chouji's dad has utmost respect for his abilities - like most people, and I think in the wiki, it says he is a pretty powerful dude. Dont know hos good the wiki is though.
