BZ was controlling him, so he wasn't affected. Yamato wasn't affected until Spiral Zetsu released him.

Well actually obito was out he was passing on Lol if so to say but not all gone bz was keeping him alive but he was out and bz was in control, that's why obito with bz attached to him fell after bz finished sticking his hand in madara and after that bz came off and well he was still unconscious until the point Naruto healed him then he came back.

so simply said he wasn't affected because bz was in control, saying he was not affected because he was out is wrong cause the people sleeping were also affected by IT.
