Why wasn't Jiraiya brought back in Edo Tensei?

Jirayia is at the bottom of the ocean kabuto can't go that far down or he'd die from the pressure and the arm that jirayia lost can't be found either... Kabuto thought he would be able to get enough dna off nagatos metal rods, but I guess not.


Also the fish wouldn't have eaten jirayias body yet.

He's pretty strong considering he knew how to use a sage mode and a bunch of (somewhat weak) characters from the beginning of the series were also revived.

This might be a silly question, but why would Tobi withhold that? They are basically each other's only ally, after all.

You should be happy. With the way Kishi has been dragging things on, I doubt you would want to sit through 2 chapters of "How Jiraiya became an author." Wouldn't that be fantastic. This manga would never end!
