So according to people's logic anything that doesn't make sense is automatically filler.

Why Madara using susano without eyes not filler?
Why Obito coming back from the dead and giving kakshi dms not filler?
Why Itachi suddenly out of nowehere performing Izanami not filler?

and could go on and on. can someone please explain? Canon can't have inconsistencies? Dafuq kind of logic is that?

Hidden mist arc whether makes sense or not can be canon because canon can have mistakes too just like i mentioned . IMO up until now there are no inconsistencies in this as everything can be explained

this is not what i mean. according to that logic whenever something doesn't make sense even if canon it's automatically filler. this is not how it works. the hidden mist arc s confirmed canon whether it was in the manga or not it was mentioned in it which implies it happened

If I remade the anime I would only do what's in the manga, and I would even keep the fighting to be more accurate to the manga panels and not add stuff in between. but I would only wanna do Naruto, not Boruto.

I lost track on what was filler and not when all the movies and novels came out. Who cares, if you like it then it's good.

Actually, I think I see what 123fire means. While you are right in that most of the time people just stick to the definition manga = canon, anime = filler, I have seen times when people dismissed something as filler just because they didn't like it.

Case in point: The Last

Kishi himself stated The Last to be chapter 699.5, but even then for a long time people called it filler just because they didn't like it.

In that case you'd have about 5 - 10 minute episodes and very short fights. That would suck!

That is inconsistency and not filler. Yeah I know there were people considered something they don't like as filler. Thats is hypocrisy.


But anything that happen in the manga we cant call it as filler but inconsistency or plothole or asspull

That’s understandable, but that’s a really select few, and even then, most of the people that do things like that do them trigger him to begin with. I guess It just makes more sense to me personally to let that sh t go, especially when your just enjoying what your enjoying, but that’s just my own opinion on it
