Why was Madara able to use Kamui?

I thought Obito couldnt with the Juubi, so why Madara? Is it because he had Hasiramas Sage Power? I dont really see how that makes anything different. Madara shouldn't have beena able to unless either plot or something idk about.

Obito said he couldn't after he got hit with Naruto's Senpou: Rasengan. And Madara used Kamui after absorbing the tree, so....
