Why was Kuma still there when Franky turned up?

Ok so after reading the latest chapter I was confused.

How was Kuma still there when his mission was to stay and defend the Sunny till one of the straw hats turned up, and he left when Franky arrived. Yet Zoro arrived first O_O. Although now that I think about it, Zoro might not have gone to the Sunny when he arrived.

What do you guys think?

Fail Sora. Yes I know he was guarding the ship, but I thought his mission was to protect the Sunny till one of the strawhat pirates turn up. He left when Franky turned up yet Zoro made it back first.

Dude,zoro can`t find his way in a completely straight line,do you think he could get to the ship without any guidance?

It's fairly obvious: the mission was to protect the ship till one of the strawhats arrives at the ship. Even though Zoro was first on Sabaody and arrived at Rayleigh's place, he never went (or just never reached) the Sunny. Franky was the second on the island, but the first one that reached the Sunny.

Zoro was one of the last to find the ship. Franky was probably the first one to the ship, that's why Kuma didn't leave until Franky got there.

in one of the last chapters there was a conversation between Sanji and Zorro^^ where he talks about going back to sunny in a way you would speak to a baby dunno exactly which chapter it was

And franky would probably go directly to the ship to see what maintanence and repair he would need to do where as Zoro would just wander around lost.
