She was a lame villain. She was only there for something like 15 chapters and then she got defeated in the most possibly lame way. What was the point of introducing her to the manga?
that makes perfect sense! She was introduced so kishi's haters could no longer say that he always makes females inferior to males in power.
Except Kaguya was less of a threat than Madara, even though she had more power. She was introduced so kishi's haters could no longer say that he always makes females inferior to males in power.

I think the Sharingan is a mutation between the Shinju's eye and Kaguya's eyes. She was introduced to confirmthe birth of doujutsu that where did all doujutsu come from. Apparantly Kagya is the mother of all Doujutsu. Also she proved that sharingan did come from byakugan.
So part three can have something to go off of
Pretty much this as well. It's pretty similar to Itachi and Kisame's appearances alluding to the Akatsuki in part 1. However, the execution this time was extremely poor.Probably just to set up whatever's going to happen in "Naruto Last" film series.
I thought it was because we had already seen all of madara's arsenal. and to introduce a new villain with new jutsu it would compliment the powerup that both naruto and sasuke had gainedkaguya was used as a plot for defeating madara and to make the story interesting.
