She was a lame villain. She was only there for something like 15 chapters and then she got defeated in the most possibly lame way. What was the point of introducing her to the manga?

Man, she is the ancestor of all chakras.
She defeated in same way because of naruto , obito and kakshi efforts. Otherwise kaguya threw sasuke in the desert.
Kaguya already separated both seal users but the credit goes to obito eyes and naruto's strategy.

She was introduced to confirmthe birth of doujutsu that where did all doujutsu come from. Apparantly Kagya is the mother of all Doujutsu. Also she proved that sharingan did come from byakugan.

Her character needed to appear to validate the story Hagoromo told, plus Black Zetsu's manipulation of the Uchiha clan (part of the Kaguya chapters) dispelled any notions that the Uchiha were somehow inherently evil.

To confirm the Uchiha and Hyuga connect mention back part 1.

Kaguya most likely isn't really a villain. Recent chapter implied that she was under some kind of influence from eating the Shinju fruit. Even Naruto noted that there was something abnormal with her.

I think the Sharingan is a mutation between the Shinju's eye and Kaguya's eyes.

So part three can have something to go off of
Probably just to set up whatever's going to happen in "Naruto Last" film series.
Pretty much this as well. It's pretty similar to Itachi and Kisame's appearances alluding to the Akatsuki in part 1. However, the execution this time was extremely poor.

kaguya was used as a plot for defeating madara and to make the story interesting.
I thought it was because we had already seen all of madara's arsenal. and to introduce a new villain with new jutsu it would compliment the powerup that both naruto and sasuke had gained
