She got serious after she heard that it was sasuke's turn .. and we all know if naruto's stupid jutsu was effective then the genius plan would actually harm her.

She also only dodged sasuke's jutsu or attempts instead of take them head on like she did Naruto's rasengan.

She didn't want to stand around so close to them absorbing something because they would be ready to attack. She created a distance and chose to dodge instead for their upcoming attack since they were freed.

I mean there were a bunch of occasions where she could have absorbed something but didn't. It's just plot to make the fight more diverse.

She was never scared of Sasuke. She trolled him at every turn. He performed terribly in that fight.

Notice how she had to send away 1 of them and she chose Sasuke.

Sssuke caused her to switch from/to every dimension which takes a ton of chakra.

Sasuke caused her to not switch dimensions again so that they could seal her.
