I don't understand. If God wanted to forgive our sins he could. Why reincarnate to be punished by himself, in order to forgive sins?

* Blood needs to drop to forgive a sin. (Old Testament)

Lambs were used as the most precious to slaughter(others were of lesser value) and you shall be forgiven. This was however unfair to those poor who couldn't afford to keep on sinning and slaughtering like the rich. So the world was full of rich sinful keep on being forgiven individuals plus poor who punished themselves eternally. They couldn't afford the object to slaughter on forgiveness.

So therefore Son of Man was sent to be the Lamb to demolish this sadistic culture.

* He was born to move the Jews out of oppression by the Roman, Greeks etc. (Messiah: Lead you to greater land)

* He was prophesied to will follow Jonah's tale (Isaiah: don't remember the verse and chapter it's been years)

* Spread faith to those of the non promised tribes etc (non Jews)

Before Jesus came along man made sacrifices to God as penance for their sins. Jesus was meant to be the final, perfect & complete sacrifice--the Son of God. Salvation for every human alive--at that moment & onward. Our sinful actions makes us unfit to be in God's presence, so Jesus is a way to "wipe the slate clean" of our past actions, so to speak, & grow closer to Him rather than drift farther away.

If God just "forgave" whenever we did something wring with no consequence at all we'd be spoiled children doing whatever we wanted with no regard for what might happen (getting a lot more common nowadays, sadly). The choice for Salvation, just like sin & following God, is our choice to make--it's not supposed to be forced on us by God or anyone else. Jesus dying on the cross gave us that choice.

I could go A LOT more into detail with this & give a better description but I' need to sleep & have a limited window & tight schedule. I'll be praying for you.

The idea behind it is because human ears and bodies can't withstand hearing the voice of God so in order to inform the people of this act. That said the idea of sins and punishment directly opposes the idea of human creation by God, we were created with free will so what sense is there in judging and punishing those for executing the free will granted to them? The ideas of sin and punishment are part of those human alterations made to the ideas/concepts of our existence we call religion which are the biggest reason why most don't trust religions anymore.

The book of Enoch, iirc, also mentions how Jesus walked the levels of Hell and told someone who asked why he was suffering that all would be forgiven in time even those down there. Ideas like this were directly against the authorities goals of using religion to impose law and order who taught of crime and punishment, that's a big part of why it's "controversial". Really though if you did believe then the book of Enoch would be one of the most in line books with the religion, why would an all forgiving God who created you with free will judge you for how you use it then hold on to that judgment forever? Both of those contrary to the image of the God, but you're bound to get conflicting stories when you have people altering the material hundreds of years later.

Jesus did not come for everyone and at the same time he came for everyone.
Before he arrived there was the Old Testament that was teaching people to be an eye for an eye which automatically implied a lot of hate and ugliness.

He was needed for those people which had a heart for him. Humanity had to relearn love, sorrow, loss.

I believe that He did not come as a symbol, but as a teaching on his death moment. He opened the hearts of people.

Well us Muslims believe that he was one of the great Prophets and that he was sent to guide the Children of Israel.
We do not believe that he died for our sins and we do not believe he was God.
But we do believe that he did do miracles through God's will just like the other Prophets.
In fact, he is mentioned in the Quran more than Prophet Muhammed(PBUH).
You can't be a Muslim without believing in Prophet Isa/Jesus(AS) and it offends us when someone ignorantly says that he never existed.

Legal reasons (because he is a God of Justice) would be the short answer to your question
Adam forfeited perfection, eternal life and Jesus sacrificed himself to buy back that privilege as well as to put mankind at a proper standing so that we don't have to sacrifice sheep and cattle anymore. Though in order to take full advantage of Jesus' sacrifice you have to exercise faith in him

That's also why when we pray we are supposed to petition God through Jesus.

Lol at all of these posts. :lol You are saying that God - the creator of every single thing in existence came down to earth as a human and sacrificed himself for our sins (even though it is He who created the concept of sin)? Do you even understand how blasphemous and irreligious that is?

I believe that Jesus was a prophet, and like all of the prophets that came before him, he was assigned to call people away from the 20 foot statues they created, worshipped and called God. He called people to worship the only God, to stay away from evil and to lead a good life.​
