It only happened like 70-80 years ago max.

Power of that scale is not something you forget that soon. :|

Maybe all people in NV have Alzeimers or something, but even then there would be records and such of the First Hokage.

It makes no sense.

People who witnessed it didn't live to tell the tale?

Shinshunsenju would make even the hardiest of Shinobi pick up the soap.

Probably because he never had to go all out except with Madara.

He could create a forest in an instant, but it was his ability to control tailed beasts as mere pets, that people from distant lands could not believe. That like some of these Grand parents talking about there old war stories.

You forget that they're shinobi. Ever realized the oldest shinobi we've seen are Hiruzen and his advisers... Yeah, all the others are dead...

Probably because hardly anyone ever actually saw him fight seriously. Anyone that would even be close to their fight would be destroyed.

They quite literally left their mark on the map and will never be forgotten because of their strength, but since no one ever actually saw them fighting at their best people view their strength as only myth.

His power was regarded as a fairy tale, just because people who had not seen his power, didnt believe one person was capable of haveing that much power.

Imagine you saw a guy who could jump 6 ft straight up(like the bottom of his feet are 6 ft high, and the rest of his body higher than that) You tell your friend what you saw. Your friend would just think you are makeing it up, or over exagerateing his jumping ability.

Its not that people forgot his power, its just the descendants of those who witnessed his power, just couldnt believe someone was that strong.

Hashirama is Our Lord Master and Savior King no one could Comprehend his power and I label Tobirama's death as the Fall of the Strong because he truly had real power and not many after him had seen or had real power thats why they label Master Lord God King Savior All Father Hashirama a fairy tale because they could not fathom real power and the only reason people revered Hiruzen was because he was given the title of Hokage instead of just being the shit an earning it like Lightning God Chosen King Savior Minato

Couple of wars have been since then. Life expectancy in a war is short and history is messy and no1 has time for it.

Who else could solo Bijuu with ease?
Who else could Create entire forests?
The sheer size of the Ginat woodstatue makes a full grown Bijuu look like a pet.
His power is legendary. Nobody else except Madara could compare to that.
Obito may with Kamui..but thats a fat assed may

Well it was much more than 70-80 years, Hiruzen was like 69 years when he died and he was a ninja while Tobirama was Hokage. Hashirama's power was deemed powerful back before the village system exisited so it was some years before that. Also what cptenn94 said VVV
