Why was ending so rushed?

I haven't kept up with Naruto in a long while, but recently heard that it was ending so I went and binged all the chapters I hadn't read. I must say I'm really confused. Why was all of this so rushed? I expected much more from Naruto and Sasuke's showdown and it was so insanely anticlimactic. I liked some of the ending, but I really just felt like Kishi crammed it all into too few chapters.

Also I feel like there are a lot of loose threads of plot left unresolved from how rushed this was. For example, I have no clue why Oro did anything he did during the War Arc...

Is there some explanation for why this was so rushed? I've been out of the loop so I'm just curious if we know why.

To coincide with the release of the upcoming movie.

That's disappointing to me. I've never particularly cared for any of the movies so rushing the manga over that seems like a total waste and kind of backwards priority to me. Like they're not bad, they're just meh... you can't really do anything interesting in the plot and time frame of a movie.

Because he probably wanted to get the ending out before the movie.
