why was byakugan considered the best and feared eye tech once

In terms of perception and awareness. The byakugan. Is superior . Only 4 or five uchiha awakened ms . The whole clan got killed by two people.

Yeah, it was feared, I mean, it's a pretty dang good kekkei genkai. I don't remember seeing anyonyone stating that it was the best Dojutsu tho, the Rinnegan is more powerful by faar, and, in my opinion, so is the Sharingan

kakashi said it was thee best but he didn't know about MS or Rinnegan...... its better than 3 tomoe...it got nerfved by plot in the naruto fight, neji couldn't see naruto's speed, but could see those spiders and kunai coming around the same speed easily when there was like 1000........Kakashi just said that cuz neji was stronger than sasuke and because of gentle fist

during part one at one point they say the byakugan is a superior version of the sharingan. I'm not sure why though. They both have their perks (near 360 degree vision from one, powerful genjutsu and motion tracking/predicting from the other) but in the end, give me a sharingan over a byakugan any day

I'm a huge hyuga fan and I really don't like how kishi stopped developing the byakugan story. Damnt it, the hyuga is the strongest clan in konoha now that the uchiha are gone. Kishi just started adding power ups after power ups to the sharingan. Show the byakugan some love!!! They are still my fav anyway

Oh and the byakugan is considered the best in what it does. Its visual prowess is unmatched ( sorry rinnegan ). And it gives access to the strongest taijutsu, jyuken. But overall, sharingan and rinnegan are better i guess.. Till kishi show some more of the byakugan. I really hope he does

As far as I've seen so far, it looks like Sharingan is stronger than Byakugan. Byakugan has a strong sensory skill and coupled with the Gentle Fist style it's pretty effective, but yeah, Kishi just tossed Byakugan aside in light of the Mangankyo Sharingan...I wonder if the Byakugan had a secret evolved form of the Byakugan like Mangankyo Byakugan or something. That would have been cool to see Byakugan with some overpowered techs like MS. Could you imagine? A fight between like MS and an evolved awakened form of Byakugan? That would have been sweet!

not many Uchiha awakened MS so only counting 1,2 and 3 T sharigan the byakugan is better.

The Byakugan is only superior regarding viewing prowess. The Sharingan only allows the user to see the chakra color of something while the Byakugan gives you true X-Ray vision, you can see even the chakra points in an almost 360-degree view radius plus the ability of long-ranged zoom. It is a pretty good bloodline and a force to be recognized, so it makes sense to be feared.

However, it is inferior to the Sharingan because it loses in the overall skills. The Sharingan allows you to predict the enemy's next move based on its motion and the ability to copy their techniques plus a natural affinity to visual Genjutsu. It has a more balanced package while the Byakugan only wins at viewing capability. And then comes the MS, things just go downhill for the Byakugan from there.

i have thought that byakugan sharingan and rinnegan were all the sage's eyes and through the generations their powers got divided among the elder sons offspring and their descendants. just like madara can change from 3T,EMS,Rinnegan the sage could change from Byakugan,Sharingan, and Rinnegan....just like the younger son got life force and vitality his descendants the senju and uzumaki each got one senju= vitality healing strength etc.... and the uzumaki got strong life force= high chakra reserves long life span
