Why was Anbu operations never shown?

I find it interesting that Anbus(some very high ranking, some very not) are interesting and typically have cool jutsu, this is why it sucks that sasuke went away from the village so quickly it really sped up the storyline also i would have liked to see a bunch more filler stuff because it's cool getting to see different moves and the characters are really far ahead now i nope they end up releasing stuff behind the scenes and with the anbu and jonin of other countries too

Wow I've never heard of anyone actually wanting to see filler episodes...

I think the Anbu are cool though as well, maybe after the manga in a spin off series we'll see more of them.​

fu and torune disagree they are mid jounin at least they had skills if they weren't against a kamui user, they would of had a good chance.

Something you have to take into account is that most of the powerful ninja in konoha are potentially in the anbu(including Hyuga, Akamichi, Yamanaka, Aburame, etc.) It's nice to see more tactical stuff which is why i was interesting in the anbu.

I agree would be cool but the reason they didn't I think is because its a secret. Secret jutsus missions and things that would change peoples ideas about the villages. Having said that it has great potential to be a good spin off.
