Why Tsunade?

I see a lot of people saying Tsunade is the best, or close to the best, kage wise. Can anyone explain why? I understand she is good at Taijutsu, and healing, but that's about it. What puts her on top?

In Terms of Combat Her Skills as a Medic and Being a Support Ninja are Second to None.

Tsunade Is Needed in the FIght Vs Madara just as Much as the Other Kages. I wouldn't Put her Top.

oh no way is onoki or whatever the second weakest in my opions best to worst would be

1. onoki
2. mei
3.gara
4. a ( he would be higer but without an arm loses all jutsu and most taijutsu to like no more liger bomb as it need 2 arms )
5. tsunade

I would say any good medic would work.

He's good with jutsu and all that, but he has to stop a lot cause of his back. That will lead to his death. I agree with the mei part, she would have the advantage against gaara, being that his sand would be useless against boil. A is lowered since the loss of a arm.

Nah i kid her medical ninjutsu and taijutsu strength are second to none . Sakura was punching around sasori's iron sand which weighs at least a 1-5 tons. Now imagine that but with 10 times more strength a sh*t load ofexperience and a bad temper and you get Tsunade

O.O sounds like a bad idea. Although Sakura has quite the temper too.

I really don't think we've seen everything Tsunade can do yet. She's been referred to as the strongest kunoichi, ever. And since we've seen other Kunoichi preform more impressive feats than her (Either of Mei's kekkei Genkai, the attacks Konan used against Tobi,), I think it stands to reason we haven't seen her at her fullest yet.

I don't know...I would say we've seen her at her fullest. She tired herself out just after fighting Kabuto and Oro. In that same chapter she said she is exhausted. I really don't see what else she could be hiding. She's strong and capable, but probably the weakest of the kages.

Well, she is very strong (punching ect) And the best healer out there. Although she is clearly not close to the top of the list of kages.

Well, those people deserve a good slap to the face. She is probably the best medical ninja in the whole anime. I can't think of anyone better.
