Why Tobirama couldn't break edo tensei ??

Yeah, its absolutely retarded that Tobirama couldn't break the seal and release himself, he created the damn jutsu. That is one plot hole that i think kishi is kicking himself in the ass for. At least he should be.

Orochimaru used the Zetsu-clone body that was the host for Tobirama's spirit to bind Tobirama's movements. Making it impossible for him to break the seal.

I don't see why he currently doesn't, considering Orochimaru isn't trying to hold them back/bind them now.

Keep in mind Madara never broke the hold on edo tensei. Once he was released and before he was sealed gained control of the technique himself since there was no one controlling him. Hashirama's DNA is an awfully powerful thing. It enhances a person's abilities making orochimaru's hold on tobirama more powerful or else tobirama would've broken it.

Did Madara learn the seals from Tobirama? I don't think Tobirama would inform him of such a powerful jutsu. Maybe he learned it from Orochimaru.

It's not plot hole. Madara was only able to break out for the moment when he was free after Itachi was canceliing the jutsu.

Tobirama cannot perform the necessary seals because Orochimaru didn't give him the freedom to perform them. Now he can but

its pointless to.
