[Discussion] Why tobi told about his plan ?

I always asked myself...

Why did Tobi tell, to everyone during Kage Meeting, about his Mooneye Plan and the War ?

Because of this, he lost the war.

His final plan was to catch Hachibi and Kyubi right ? So why he told this, what was the reason.

It was easier to catch the 2 last Jinchurikis without telling this, with secret attacks as Akatsuki did.

And now I see the manga ending soon, so this will stay unsolved probably.

he wanted to start the war and that was the only way it might seem that he lost the war but what if kishi changes that his plan is to catch the jinchurikis but since all of the other tailbeast have been caught the kages would know that they are trying to catch them so they would protect them so they really already know that he is after them

he would have kill everyone because the villages could not organise defense..

Think about it this way Tobi's ultimate goal is to create one unified world. After he announced his plan the whole shinobi world came together as one cohesive unit. Although it is an odd and twisted way, I think Tobi is pulling his plan off.

I am starting to think that Tobi doesn't actually want the 8 and 9 tails. There was a period where Tobi was actually standing on B. It was the perfect time to warp him, yet he didn't?
