Kamui tears a hole I space which Tobi can escape from by going intangible, meaning that he can pass into it.

Tobi does not what to waste his intangibility time by staying in for longer than needed, so when he believes that hole is going he becomes tangle, in doing so his body is part of 2 dimensions before the hole fully closes.

No, the dimension that Kakashi sends objects into with Kamui is in the same as Tobi's Space time tech. Tobi dosent dematerialise he just switches dimensions, the same dimension as Kakashi's Kamui. So when Tobi phased through Naruto, Kakashi sent his Rasengan to the other diemnsion and there it hit Tobi.

Why are you being such a troll? There are about a billion threads that get launched after a chapter comes out. Same as how not everyone reads the chapter at the same time. Cut the original poster some slack, it's not like this doesn't happen every week. I myself made one of those 5 threads. You could always not click on them.......

Yes I though this but I thouht that if this was the case that the rasengan would have done alot more damage, what you are saying does match up though with the mask crack from the kunai and the burns from the rasen.

I have a policy against -repping but you are really testing me , stop complaining that is what happens when a new chapter comes out, stop being a troll.

I think he may have became tangible just in time to avoid most of the damage seeing as he went flying across the floor.

This. Exactly, this is the best analysis I've seen.

no tobi just have no option to escape from the attacks
he can get hit now in the real world AND in the other dimension

I am saying that he goes tangible before the hole is completely closed and he gets a small part warped away.

Edit: Gooner4life explained the damage reduction, I accept the double dimension attack theory.

I think this what happend. Kakashi sent naruto rasengan to another dimension. Tobi shared the same dimension. So as tobi was materializing, it hit him.
