Why the Uzumaki clan didn't come from Hogoromo's brother

The Senju clan were the descendants of the younger son; manga facts.

The Uzumaki clan were distant relatives of the Senju clan.

Naruto (as stated in this weeks manga) is the reincarnation of Hogoromo's younger son.

So why would Naruto meet Hogoromo and be the reincarnation of his son, when Naruto's clan/bloodline actually originated from Hogoromo's brother?

This could disprove any theories about how the Hyuuga and Uzumaki clans originated from Hogoromo's brother. They could both just be distant relatives of each main clan.

Also, Sasuke won't meet Hogoromo's brother in his mind/in the 'in-between' world. What would be the point of that?
"Hello Sasuke, you are the reincarnation of my nephew" <- that sounds ridiculous. Sasuke IS the reincarnation of Indra, not Madara. Once Madara is dead, why would there be a fight between Naruto and Sasuke if the feud between the Elder and Younger son is already settled, through Madara and Naruto?

Distant relatives can easily be the clan born from his uncle. They still share the same blood, but I do agree that Ashura would be reincarnated in someone of his own direct family. But it also can be just that Hagoromo is talking in metaphors here. He may not mean that Ashura is literately reincarnated inside of Naruto, but that his will is the same as Naruto's.

Well, reincarnation is basicly rebirth after death, if I remember correctly. I doubt that Ashura's chakra has mind tbh, but it's possible

So you're telling me Naruto, an Uzumaki, who always gets compared to the SO6P, has the will of the son of the SO6P (who the SO6P chose as his successor), reminds the bijuu of the SO6P, is the only person who has befriended all of the bijuu like the SO6P, is actually directly related to the brother of the SO6P through the Uzumaki clan? Makes a lot of sense.

Correct. No point of Sasuke meeting the brother. In a way though naruto could be related to the sages brother. I mean he already is but, The sages brothers could have started the Uzumaki bloodline. They eventually cross with senju eventually you get a bunch of senju and uzumaki and they just become reletives lol.
