[Discussion] Why the Samurai in 650

I am just wondering why the Samurai were given panel time in manga 650. I absolutely have no idea what the role of the Samurai is in this war. Any of you have any ideas what role the Samurai may play in what is going on right now?

The samurai don't have a role anymore, This chapter was a contrast chapter to show that the Alliance is not broken and that they are ready to fight.
