Why The Pairing Wars Are Pointless

Over the years I have read a lot of forums online that talk about the pairing wars and they just keep going on and on and on for so many pages, they are never ending and neither side wants to agree with the other. These pairing wars even get to the point of cursing or even death threats and if they get to that point that's the time a person should stop. But what I'm really trying to say is that no matter how much people discuss these pairing wars, doesn't mean we can decide which one is going to happen, that's just flat out arrogant. It's Kishi's story, he can do whatever the hell he wants.

I only care about the pairings if they serve any importance to the overall story, I mean personally I support Naruhina, but if Naruto ends up with Sakura, I'm not gonna die because I care about the story as a whole, not just one aspect of it. While there are actually some fans who just care about the pairings which is stupid.

But the absolute most ridiculous part about these pairing wars is that fans are seriously debating about who a fictional character gets to sleep with at the end of the series and the fact that these pairing wars can actually get to the point of death threats is beyond ridiculous. There are more important things to discuss about the series than the pairing wars.

I agree with you 100%....pairing fights are just dumb, and IMO pairings are the least important part of the story.

There's no point fighting about what pairing you want to happen, since it doesn't affect Kishimoto's decision at all.

Your right, we fans don't even have the right to decide which pairing is going to happen. That's all on Kishi, I bet that final pairing he's going with is at the back of his mind.

I have to agree here. I support NaruSaku and am confident based on past knowledge of manga/story development that they will end up together, but I'm not going to go around making threads proclaiming it and putting down others who feel differently, simply because in the end it's not going to affect how the actual story goes.

Still, I often see that type of thread being made, with OPs arguing how this and that already makes their respective pairings canon and how opposing shippers need to "give up"/"move on," and the logical fallacies that I read tempt me to respond and correct them. That then leads to a back and forth debate that often times escalates into a full blown pairing war. Whether all the arguing matters or not, people are still going to do it in the end, and that's not going to change :dunno:

personally, i really do not care about shipping since i find shipping pointless but i am surprised there are other in the interwebs who are like me. *secretly happy*

until people realize that kishimoto is not reading naruto base forums, or manga fox forums or any other forums where these shipping wars go on, they will go on only because people have the inner need ot have their egos stroked and flash those gigantic egos all over the place

personally i wish kishi would just troll them with some raw of the end of the manga just to shatter their worlds, but i doubt it would work out that way

Well its good to let others know what pairing you support, even though I personally support NaruHina, I'm not gonna bash you just because you're a NaruSaku fan, nobody should.

I have seen a fan saying if sasuke didn't end up with karin he will kill himself also I have seen the same fan give death threats to sasusaku fans lol that fan made me like sasusaku instead of hating them .

Anyway the whole pairing fan is ok everyone has his own opinion if everyone respected that not only on pairing wars it would be much better .
