I was reading the databook translation and it said that the Truth-Seeking Orbs use the power of the universe or all of creation which is the same thing. The black orbs are apparently universe level in potency but their range is forest level and close combat.

I would usually turn the other cheek but after seeing the movie were the fodder ninja who powered up a cannon were about to blow up the moon.

I'm not in disbelief that the truth seeking balls are universe level. Just remember nameless fodder are moon level.

I'm pretty sure it blocks everything. Itachi may not have the perfect chakra reserves and stamina he can hold it for a good time.

Yata is said to have all 5 elements. TSB have all 5 including KKG ,Yin, Yang and Senjutsu. Therefore Yata isn't the strongest.

Kaguya is the only one who can destroy one. But using its power means potency but as you said it doesn't equate to destroying it because they lack the range.

That's where potency comes in but his attack is strong enough to destroy earth which is why they were high up in the atmosphere above the clouds like in the stratosphere. Whether he could have destroyed the planet is unknown.

Potency does not equal radius that is all i know.
