Why the hell didn't SSB Goku Heal

What prevented Goku from using his God Ki to heal from that injury given to him by Sorbet? He used god ki to heal from the stab wound done by Beerus which was the same as this one.

Maybe that's an ability exclusive to SSG. SSB is a different form entirely, the only similarities are the old name which we don't talk about.

lol This is probably before the Anime adaptation. Inconsistencies began more since the SSG thing began.
