They really do. It's gotten bloody annoying at how serious they take a fictional character. It should never be that serious. I really see no point in arguing at who's real or not because at the end of the day, they all look the same.

And I find it very hypocritical when they accuse "bandwagoners" of d-riding, but I bet they have not thought of this: If you claim to be a "real" fanboy, you're no different from a "fake" one, all it means is that you've been d-riding longer. That's what I was telling this Obito fan. It's not the character itself we hate, it's the fans. Same thing applies to musicians. I can almost guarantee you that every popular artist wouldn't be terribly disliked if it wasn't for their "holier than thou" fans. If liking a character means that I have to deal with people in this thread, then count me out. I simply won't like any of them.
