why the hate for Hashirama?

Who hates on hashi? And I don't remember hiruzen beating hashirama? Beating would mean that hiruzen came out a winner and I don't remember that happening.

In fact I remember him saying something like "There is NO OTHER WAY... 4th hokage I HAVE TO use that jutsu" As hiruzen had no hope what so ever of winning

its because we havnt seen him fight yet and everyone says he is the best so there is no way we can know how good he was in comparison to ninja now to people over hype him. thats why
