[Theory] Why the dragons disapeared

Well, we all know that the dragons disappeared on 7/7/777, many people may consider why so many 7, but I think the reason is because of the dragon slayers, I mean, Acnologia is a dragon slayer tecnically, so he might fear that one dragon slayer (Natsu) might become as strong as him and kill him, so, he tried to prevent this by making a rule that dragons cannot meet humans, then the interest part comes, my theory is that they disappeared cause Acnologia was trying to hunt them, so they hide, the other is that, they haven't teach everything to the DS's, so, Acnologia prevented them from taughting some kind of tecnic that Acnologia has, and they hided, so, what you guys think about it?

Idk, it mean a lot of things, some say is the magic number, luck number, bad luck number etc. But I know it means other things cause in Tenrou Island it passes 7 years, to be the exact time after the dragons disappeared it can't be only luck, maybe Mashina will explain it later, and yeah, with Lucy's mother and the disappearence of the Star mages, I can't explain it right now, don't have a theory for it, sorry
