Why taking away Shukaku?

Gaara was trolled. Imagine if he had shukaku even if he's the weakest bijuu out there... :|
Juubi is the strongest anyway so one bijuu less isn't a big deal.
If he had shukaku he could match the strongest shinobi. His awesome sand jutsu is gone with it. U_U

Doesn't he match them? If you look at the war gaara fought longer than Mizukage, Raikage and Hokage. oonoki was just a burden to Gaara and still he was able to pull through. he fought they defeated 4th Kazekage, 2nd Mizukag, gaara saved them using his mother shaped sand jutsu from several enemy attacks and you say he would match top shinobi if he had Shikaku, don't mess with us Gaara is strong already he can match other top shinobi you know, also dont forget that's the commandar in chief, i dont see anyone amongst the Kage who are cable to be the chief commander accept gaara

It is spelled Shukaku, Shikaku is shikamarus dad. I keep making this spelling mistake too.
Anyway I think it would have been better if Naruto, Bee, and Gaara fights side by side as the perfect jinchiruki host. Besides I would like to see more of Kyubi and Shukaku's chemistry seeing that they hate each other because of the number of tails.xd

Well, now he won't have to live with a voice constantly whispering things into his ears, along with being able to sleep now, so I'd say that he's a lot better emotionally right now. His powers don't seem to have been affected too much to be honest, his Sand Shield still works, and he still has good control over his sand.

Nope gaara can still fight with Sasuke, he can dogde amaterasu, defend susanoo attacks and he can attack with his wind style at long range and he has a possibility to nullify the lightning style since its weaker against wind style
