Why so much hate on characters?

Every character in naruto plays a role and they're important to the story. Even tenten has a part. The story revolves around naruto. Thus we don't get to know a whole lot about certain characters. Don't judge a person by feats. Sakumo Hatake was believed to be stronger than the Sannin though he has no feats what so ever. Sakura...Oh boy... She's part of team 7. She represents how naruto has changed from when they first met to now and will eventually surpass tsunade if she hasn't already. Tobirama tried to protect the uchiha from their curse by isolating them. Gai adds comedy to the show. Every character plays their part. But don't forget the whole show centers on naruto

Some characters are meant to be disliked most of the bashing of characters is just because they think it's funny or it becomes a fad. Like itachi soloing its just something people,do.

Why so much hate? Well there's so much hate for the girl characters because of pairings, that's why so many people hate Sakura. I honestly don't know why people get so worked up about it, it's embarrassing and childish.
