Why SM Naruto loses to MS Sasuke

Sadly fans of Naruto truly feel Naruto would win this fight due to his summons but the issue is they forget Naruto's heart in comparison to Sasuke's heart during this time.

When Naruto says:

This statement isn't just about overall power. He is referring to the entire outcome of the fight and also comparing the ramifications of his victory or defeat.

Yes, If Naruto utilized his entire toad arsenal he may potentially win or push the fight to high/very high difficulty.

However, this fight would result in most of his summons dying and the very last thing Naruto would ever do is foolishly put his comrades in harms way because Naruto cares for his comrades in a fight and he will go the extra mile to insure they are protected.


Sasuke however,

Even when Sasuke fought Kakashi briefly. Sasuke willingly attacked Kakashi's comrades in hopes of leaving Kakashi open for attack (Which worked) especially since Kakashi was shocked by this tactic.

So if this fight truly happened. Naruto would have ultimately lose simply because Sasuke would have thrown everything at him with no regard for it's health (summons etc) while Naruto would have fought trying to help and protect his comrades.

With the power of the Kyuubi however, Naruto was finally able to help others while also being capable of holding his own. Which is ultimately why he stated

So with this said, dont think of it as a loss but more so that Naruto knew the risk far out weighed the reward without the kyuubi

Indeed. Sasuke's death was too high a price for Naruto to pay as he was then.

Its complicated.

A fresh Sasuke with control over his abilities would indeed beat Naruto into a pulp, but he was never fresh and with full control of his abilities.

Early MS Sasuke was confirmed to be no match for Naruto.

The Sasuke who fought the Kages might have been a different story, but I still think Futon Rasenshuriken would be well enough to burst through his V2 Susanoo.

Versus Danzo Sasuke might have a good chance, but he's already halfway through his blindness. He'd probably beat Naruto, but given his state, its not a sure thing.

Then, we're left with blind Sasuke which...well, what's even the point then.

That is all assuming Naruto has the same prep time he had with Pain. Arriving in the battlefield in Sage Mode with two other Sage clones at the ready. Him not having that...well, it factors a lot into the fight.
