Why should hagoromo be evil ?

I see a lot of people seeing hagoromo as the final villian, which i cant understand, there is no reason for hagoromo to do this.
He was once the only human with chakra of the jubi(kaguya+tree), rinnegan, ying yang,...
But he diceded to share his chakra to all people and not dominating them. so why now changing to a tyrant ?

He has divided the jubi into 9 bijus to lower te big power of the jubi ( he gave up being the 10 tails jinchuriki ) seems to me that he is not a man who is hungry for power, exactly the opposite he shared power.

He was against control and the first person the bijus have trusted.

I really dont see him wanting the power to controll the world neither batteling his sons.

Its just his smile which looks crepy, but this man had to felt very difficult decisions i his whole long life, which formed his face a bit strict and hard i think.

I think he only shared the chakra with everyone because his idea of everyone "connecting" was focused on using the chakra in everyone's body to remotely control them, without the use of IT. Then he created the Biju in order to have several minions to watch over the slaves and make sure that they stay in line. But he couldn't handle the stress from the power exertion, and told them that the child of prophecy, would continue his reign of terror in the future, and decided to pretend to be a good guy until the time is right to turn the child of prophecy to his side.

shit that wouldnt be that far fetched, but i still doubt it just because this would be the 4 change of the finall villian in this arc =D

Sure, Hagoromo helped Naruto and Sasuke seal Kaguya (or is it actually the other way around? :snick, which might hint towards good intentions, but what if sh*t hits the fan and he suddenly turns around like a leaf on a tree (Dutch saying, not sure if you guys know it). Why would he want to stop Kaguya? For good or bad? Or maybe he's just being selfish (if he's bad) and wants to get rid of her? To get her powers for his own (perhaps), to rule the world once more himself? To come back?

But hey, that's just pessimistic me. Who knows? For all we know he could be this sweet lil' old hermit who would do no harm.

Intresting toughts, if the series goes longer when hagoromo would be the final villian i wont claim about it.
