Why Shisui Uchiha comitted suicide?

As revealed in manga , Shisui feared that his eyes will be sought for its power leading to a great war or devastation or havock,but if he is left behind sightless I.e.,means eyeless why probably should he commit suicide.....?

Dude, as depicted by The manga Shisui is no normal NINJA, he's an elite SHINOBI & don't say that he would commit suicide for just being blind as even normal people strive to live good though they are blind and more over shinobi like him will never ever reveal any such secret to Danzo as Shisui was the one who thought Itachi that Shinobi is one who lives under shadow and protect their desire...
