Now we are all familiar with the most hated panel of the Nardo manga

(I cannot post the panel cause Im on my phone, but it is the one where sauce said "I lost")

However the reason why I think Sauce said that is not because of some philosophical reason, it is because Nardo stopped him.

What if Nardo s aim at the vote fights was not to beat sauce, but to stop him.

This might explain why sasuke said " I lost "

I welcome any other different opinions.

Well yeah that's kind of the whole point. He lost.

Tried to kill Naruto & lost.
Tried to kill the Kage & lost.
Tried his own solution & lost.

Naruto (although knocked on his rear) stopped all 3 of these things. He won.
HOWEVER as far as the actual FIGHT I still see it as a tie.

naruto stopped sasuke from doing anything bad

or he changed his mind that what he was doing was bad

or he realized that his way was wrong the way he want things done

may be naruto was right and his revolution was wrong when he realized he was wrong

After long fight

sasuke said " I lost "

Sasuke has lost the fight ideologically and physically.
Sasuke admitted it in front of boruto that he lost to his father.

No matter how much and how many times some people twist this lost thing into something which makes their favorite look less worse, the fact still remains the same

"And physically."
Mfw when they were in the exact same physical state.

He meant that Naruto woke up a lot sooner, suggesting that he had more energy. Sasuke also chuckled at the fact that Naruto would continue to fight even after all that if he wouldn't give up.

Sasuke lost the ideological battle. He realized that he didn't want to cut off his feelings for Naruto or his other comrades, and that he didn't need to do so for the sake of his ideals. Naruto's words had caused Sasuke to remember what he once felt, as a kid who just wanted a family and a place to belong, and this helped him to decide to forgive the people in his past, and trust to hope for a better future, rather than simply erasing everything and trusting no one. And it wasn't just Sasuke who lost; it was Indra's entire ideal, throughout the long war with Ashura. Sasuke had decided that Naruto was right, and love is the answer that he had been looking for. Love was the only thing that could make their twisted world make sense, and balance against the "darkness" that Sasuke had become so obsessed with containing and embracing, and this realization immediately started to heal Sasuke's emotional scars. Throughout all of Part 2, no matter how close Sasuke got to achieving his goals, he didn't have a single soft, genuine expression of relief or joy up until that single panel. By admitting that he had "lost," he was saved from his goals, and free to love and be loved again.

I know this all sounds very sappy and sentimental, but I believe that it's pretty accurate.

Of course he did, Uzumaki are known for their stamina.

Sasuke chuckled cuz it was obviously a joke. Neither of them were gonna be fighting at that moment.
