Easy, Pain's couldn't even hold the 8 tailed form of Kyuubi while Sasuke's can hold all 9 beasts. I am not the biggest fan of Sasuke but let's be reasonable here.

you failed to mention the part where had to genjutsu them to guarantee their complacency first. Look at how small those satellites were and say they were going to hold 9 perfectly lucid bijuu for more than 10 secs.

You failed to mention that Sasuke made 9 CTs - together they would be obviously bigger than Pains. Not to mention that he performed CT just in case - Bijuus were already under his control. It wasnt even his full power.

And like I said Sasuke didnt even need to make them them big since each Bijuu was already controlled by him. Not to mention that Pain is a trash when you compare him to current Sasuke. Its only logical that much stronger character can make his technique much more powerful.
