Hey guys, this is my first thread so...kind of confused about how things' work. (I hope I posted in the correct area) U_U
But anyways, I want to explain why I think Sasuke will not die (and pairings) through color symbolism.
I was reading a thread once about color symbolism and this one person noted how Naruto's eyes are blue because he tries to bring Sasuke back, while Sasuke's eyes are black because he is secluding himself from others/ his drive to darkness, and Sakura's blue-green eyes meaning she needs both of them with her. (I'm sorry I could not find the post again.) I'll ignore what happens in the chapters because all those speculations are a bit repetitive.
So now that you know these, I can expand more on the symbolism. Sasuke and Naruto need each other in order to create green, which is the color of balance and life. Sakura's eyes are aqua-ish color. She has to have Naruto AND Sasuke in her life. She is meant to help Naruto and Sasuke create balance in life since she cannot create green herself. (since her color is red) Her aqua eyes are created through blue and a bit of yellow. She needs Sasuke more than Naruto. In addition, red symbolizes healing powers so maybe it foreshadows her helping Sasuke out of the darkness. And here is an important note, aqua symbolizes HEALERS OF THE EYES. (Coincidence?)
Now to pairings-NaruSaku
Kushina (red) +Minato (yellow)= Naruto (orange)
Orange is Naruto's secondary color and the color represents success. Because Kushina and Minato were unable to bring peace to the world/Kill Tobi/raise their child, Naruto succeeds in what they couldn't accomplish. Now, I believe Naruto will accomplish all his goals in the end. So, IMO NaruSaku is unlikely. If Naruto brings peace to the world (which he probably will), then he would've succeeded in his goals. He doesn't need his son to succeed in what he (Naruto) failed in
NaruHina
Naruto (yellow) +Hinata (blue) = green
Naruto's primary color is yellow while Hinata's primary color is blue. Similar to Sasuke's and Naruto's relationship, these two colors are necessary to create balance in life. This pairing is likely (If Naruto wins the war). Have you noticed there has never been a yellow+blue pairing (of any kind)? Because until now, (well not YET), peace has never been achieved. I mean, if you really think about it, Sasuke and Naruto are polar opposites yet they go well w/ each other. Too bad this is Shonen so NaruSasu is unlikely. so I guess NaruHina is the other choice.
SasuSaku
Sakura (red/pink) +Sasuke (blue) = purple (peace of mind)
Sakura can help Sasuke obtain peace of mind (purple symbolizes this). Sasuke is obviously, mentally unstable and Sakura's role is to heal so... (fit the pieces together) In addition, you never see blue +red pairings either! =DD
And honestly, I find this pairing the most likely to happen. And going back to my NaruSaku argument, have you noticed yellow+blue equals green (peace) and red+blue equals purple(peace), yet yellow+red does not equal peace? That's because yellow+red is supposed to LEAD to peace, not create peace. (Naruto)
In the past, Jiraiya failed to save Orochimaru, Kakashi failed to save Obito, but now it's Naruto's turn to accomplish what the past generations failed to do, which is to save their friend from the darkness. And by doing so, peace can be achieved. And my argument is done. :ghehe:
I hope this wasn't too long. This was a rough speculation of everything so point out any flaws there are and tell me if you disagree/agree. :y
