Why Sasuke will -NEVER- be Hokage, unless he changes dramatically.

He is not surprised at all. He somehow expected it.

Why, you may ask?

Because Naruto made it clear he understands Sasuke when they last met.

He knows why Sasuke wants to become Hokage. Because he is alone. Sasuke is right now in the same position Naruto was when he was a child.

That's why Naruto wanted to become Hokage, to be acknowledged by everyone.

What does that mean? That Sasuke wants to become Hokage for selfish reasons - or at least partly. That is why Naruto visibly becomes upset. Because he knows that right now Sasuke is in the same spot he was in.

Sasuke is lying to himself. He thinks that by becoming Hokage he will be accepted, forgiven, and he will be able to honor Itachi's sacrifice.

However, he makes the exact mistake Naruto did before Itachi set him straight. He thinks his power is enough for him to become Hokage, and shows that he doesn't care what his peers think.

This is what makes Naruto angry. Because Itachi's words are true, and Sasuke has the wrong reasons to become Hokage.

A hokage can't change the village as he wants, since he would become a tyrant.

Compared to obito & madara, sasuke is an angel

He's the anti-hero, & I know that sasuke wont become hokage, but it still makes a good motive for their final fight.

i like your discussion and see where you are coming from but I also agree that sasuke does want to become hokage for mature reasons rather than selfishness and since the madara/hashi flashback

i have thought sasuke may become hokage to have an UCHIHA as an hokage, to show how they have changed since back then, but im not too sure about this

Like I said elsewhere, there's no way for Sasuke to be Hokage unless Naruto allows it. Look at the faces of the future clan heads. Just LOOK at them. Without the clan heads of the future agreeing, against the will of the entire ninja world, the guy who wants to force his decision upon the village being Hokage? I think not!

Sasuke will never be a hokage. Thats the slot Naruto will fill. As Itachi said, the one who is acknowledged by everyone becomes hokage. And thats Naruto. The village will never choose Sasuke over Naruto as simple as that.
Though I have a hunch that it will be Sakura ,like Tsunade, who will become the hokage(This must not happen).

Sasuke knows the history of the hokage, village, and the clan, whereas naruto doesn't. But naruto has all the right motives set whereas sasuke had just formulated his goal.

I'm pretty sure they will fight competitively, naruto will have a slight edge, they will communicate and understand each other once again through a clash, and then ultimately naruto will acknowledge sasuke. everyone believes in naruto, so once they see naruto acknowledge sasuke, sasuke will shine in a new light.
