ok check it, everybody dismissed his claim kinda rashly, think back to naruto's flash back of itachi even he said somthing to the fact that it could be possible: now heres what we know next in line to be hokage is kakashi but i dont think he'll make it outta this in one peice so whose left, tsunade is dead last we seen madara cut her ass in half, sakura mite as well be a side character, and naruto want sasuke back soooooo bad he mite actually consider giving up the title to do it,,,, so heres my theory , i think after the war is over all the clans will be ran by naruto which will leave an opening in the hidden leaf for sasuke to become hokage

No, its an election and even if Naruto wanted Sasuke to be Hokage its not in his power to do so.

The Hokage position is chosen by election, and even if Naruto didn't want it, if he is chosen then he doesn't have a choice in the matter.

Look guys you all seem misinformed and stupid.

First off, why would we as the viewers, who have been following the main character develop from an annoying stubborn child to a well respected and acknowledged person who consistently protects the shinobi alliance and has made a substantial contribution in the war only to miss out on the opportunity of becoming hokage to a missing nin who has committed many crimes like killing danzo, a high ranking leaf village elder, siding with akatsuki the most notorious crime group and siding with obito, attacking killer bee and the kage summit?

Second, I think the storyline will be one like hashirama and madara's as madara lost the vote for hokage based on leadership, determination and sheer popularity and acknowledgement of the villages people. I have a feeling it will happen to sasuke and naruto.

Third, is it just me or the sudden motivation and goal for this sasuke seeking retribution does not make sense at all? It was just thrown at us with no clarification just a "I will become hokage" from sasuke is enough to please the viewers? Come on kishi you are trolling.

Anyway chapter 631 is great, good to see the previous hokages working together but minato in my opinion is the most badass hokage! Go MINATO <3
