Why sasuke never used Kirin again

Kishimoto would have given sasuke an OP move that was just nerfed and never did any damage. People were expecting him to at least use it against naruto but then naruto would've dodged it, adding to naruto's feats, and downplaying sasuke's original technique.

And I say naruto would dodge because he's not gonna get killed by it lol, Kishimoto can't let such a great technique get dodged, nerfed, or tanked upon every use

I mean , come on. It took him blowing several Fire Jutsus into the Sky , letting the clouds form before guiding it down with a Chidori. You think he has the time for that during a battle against Kaguya , Madara or Naruto? They would have Blitzed him if he had attempted it.

I would say that Kirin kind of became "obsolete" in a sense once Sasuke mastered Amaterasu as all Kirin really was, in a sense, was pre-Mangekyo Sasuke's Amaterasu. Even if Kirin was a little bit faster (I would say it's about the same speed, and NO let's not put any science into this guys as it's a MANGA!) it is impractical because it takes wayyy too long to set up.

In reality, for the sake of the Itachi vs Sasuke fight, Sasuke just needed a super powerful move to implant Susano'o and to contend with Itachi and Amaterasu.
