Why sasuke is fighting for humanity ?

Indeed sasukes' desire was not to restore his clan through children but to restore the honour and respect the clan had before that fateful night.
To be honest he's gone through a lot, Itachi killing his parents then telling sasuke to come increase his hate and kill him one day, sasuke then kills his brother only to find out after he kills Itachi ; from madara; that Itachi was more or less forced to kill the uchiha clan but he loved sasuke so much he could never kill his little brother and wanted to give him the power to restore the clan.
So after that massive emotional bombshell sasuke has I dare say lost at least a part of his sanity.
He just wants the honour and pride and respect of the Uchiha clan restored to what it should be, even if that means destroying the hidden leaf and everyone with it
