why sasuke got stabbed

Both Sasuke and madara got stabbed through the chest and madara lived so Sasuke will as well.

If madara remembers Izuna getting stabbed as well as himself it may temprorarely make him get lost in thought. This is all hashiramas plan.

Then Sasuke may use senjutsu to absorb hashiramas chakra and DNA from madara giving it to Sasuke so he can heal himself.
