Why Sasuke didn't get Itachi's Weapons

When Itachi was fighting Sasuke he referred to his Susanoo as his "trump card", in other words Susano'o and Yata, Totsuka are his strongest and most prized possessions even Zetsu(Whom knew of KAGUYA HERSELF) referred to Itachi's Susanoo as "invincible".

Judging from the conversation he had with Naruto during when he fought Chiyo Kakashi and Sakura and when he was an Edo we can tell that Itachi knew Sasuke was Volatile and that their was a possibility that Sasuke would attempt to destroy the village. Even planting KotoAmatsukami as a countermeasure.

I think that because Itachi knew that Sasuke was Volatile and because the weapons like Biju were sought out by evil individuals such as Orochimaru who claimed to be searching for them for years, it would be irresponsible and foolish to trust something so powerful to Sasuke, let alone ANYONE. I think that is why Itachi may have Sealed them away forever somehow to prevent creating an "invincible" foe for Konoha to deal with.

I think Sasuke was originally meant to have it when he transplanted ITachis MS. However that would make Sasuke too OP'd and solo'd Kaguya with Ease so it's best if Itachi had them.

The tools do seem like they would be exclusive to Itachi but considering that Orochimaru wanted them so bad, we can assume that they are not exclusive.

off topic, but that scan. i didn't know itachi knew about hashi's special chakra being able to aid the shisui eye. god damn, itachi's awareness is amazing.

He was at a Hokage level of intellect at age 7. Not really surprising how much he knows at that point.

Truth but if itachi knows about koto and being sure it works he could do it but I guess he didnt want to take risk if it fails him. However couldnt he sealed in Sasuke as failsafe to be auto triggered when sasuke is about die or in danger as against Madara or Kaguya. Maybe he just decided to keep Itaxhi unique , didnt need it for plot to adcance so forgot or they could cheapen Sasuke or Naruto if he gave them to him.what do you think ?

I think that Itachi wasnt worried about Sasuke Dying. AS you saw Itachi stated that Sasuke was strong. And he smiled when naruto stated that he would treat Sasuke as a brother(In other words be at his side), Itachi also fought Naruto and learned that Naruto was also powerful upon this he was likely confident in Sasuke and Naruto's strength to not have to risk it and give him the spiritual weapons. And if that is true, Itachi was right in doing so.

My thread can be the possible reason. And you theory is close to similar with mine. If not Itachi, those weapons chose to stayed with Itachi because he is worthy.

Itachi? Defeated? When?

The moment he died he was defeated. Its manga fact stated over and over again in the very manga you read.

Both Naruto and Sasuke defeated Itachi and Pain. Yes with conditions and outside help but it still counts as being defeated. You cannot dispute this as the manga supports it 100%.
