wow, I hadnt been to this site since the manga ended, I forgot that everybody here was 10 years old. Not one actual response. You kids really dont have anything better to do than hang around this site insulting characters that dont even exist and arguing about which fictional character is better than the other? Get a life.

I disagree, it's one thing to say that he will never become like naruto and another that he can't become friends with Naruto because they share different beliefs. This might be true in some cases but it's not a rule. Humans can accept others' differences with respect, that doesn't mean that they can't also be friendly towards them.

Sasuke cried because:

1) He was touched by Naruto's actions
2) It was like an explosion of emotions that ran out which for so long he kept restrained and this shocking experience made him feel inner peace, that's why when he says that lost, he seems so peaceful.
3) He may have also been happy for realizing that parts of him that he thought they were dead, were somewhere deep inside of him, making him more humane, not the monster he thought that had become.

That's foolish thinking.
How is that foolish thinking? Are you saying sasuke never cried after suffering defeat? He acknowledged his defeat and became free. The tears were of joy because he realized the path he wanted to take was a wrong one and he had been saved by his friend

You perceive my post as foolish simply because you don't agree with it, how pitiful

I'm definitely not saying this...

That's somehow more accurate, but your upper post was lacking in elaboration, hence it was open to interpretations.

That's true, but it's just how humans perception work.

When you love a girl so much and she calls you just a friend you can cry. Something similar happened I guess.

PS: Been there, done that.

Because he's a human. People don't realize Sasuke is arguably the most realistic person in the manga and as such, emits human tendencies reflecting his psychological state. Him crying was just proving how strong Naruto resolve was about him and about everything. His short monologue after that proved that. We already know that this supposed Yin-Yang balanced was never truly balanced in terms of power, regardless of what people say. It's always been about ideals.

Hashirama > Madara.
Hagoromo became Jin ahead of Hamura and he was the Yang seal user.
Sasuke used the Bijuu's (a body power-up) to push Naruto to use more powerful attacks.

The Yang have always been stronger (not much though) but it's always been how strong the ideals of the Yin are. Sasuke stayed stern the entire manga with his ideals. Madara accepted Hashirama's for a small amount of time and then tried at his own solution. And Hagoromo was the one to stay on Earth and pursue his own try at peace. It's all there.

Sasuke was driven toward one goal after another the entire story, and always shouldering it for the most part alone. We understood his goals and motivations, but never knew what he was thinking.

In that chapter, he admitted to himself that, even though he believed attachments to others was a weakness, he indeed felt those attachments. Living in denial takes a huge amount of effort. Allowing himself to admit the jealousy he felt toward Naruto and realizing their feelings toward each other were similar no doubt took a huge weight off.

I think more than anything, those were tears of relief.

You need to read the manga again, because they were even and Sasuke was half blind. Stop hating.
yea and naruto had been fighting like 200+ chapters in a war while sasuke did notha, then went on to fight sasuke and was barely exhausted. on a full rest even 2 eyes sasuke gets owned. he lost man, he admited it, the name of the manga is naruto, you should realize the meaning of all this...

Nobody "won", youre missing the point of the story. If this was a typical cliche western narrative Naruto wouldve killed Obito, and Nagato, Sasuke, etc because theyre just villians. That isnt the story Kishi was telling, how can you have read this manga and missed that?
