CES may be too OP and dangerous for the academy so she may just wait to show it plus isn't this supposed to be at the start of the academy and the Gaiden is at the end? There should be years between the two and her only learning it later in her academy days would make sense.

Well I mean she is Itachi's niece. In the fight against Kawaka everyone assumes Kawaka defeated the village and is the final villain but maybe Sarada simply soloed the village and is the final villain and Kawaka is merely her lacky.

Maybe Sarada took the same route as his dad seeking vengeance to destroy the village and, unlike her dad, succeeded in doing so, since Sasukes emotions about the coup stood in his way, whereas Sarada got family and all that
