There are still people out there who sometimes wonder why Sasuke to this very recent manga chapter is very aggressive towards Sakura, even to the point of casting genjutsu on her to purely stay out of his activities.
While some of you may not know, it all dates back to the events of early Part 1, with this one particular statement from Sakura in which she clumsily insulted Naruto(and Sasuke as well, unknowingly), concerning the fact that they do not have parents to scowl down on them for misbehaving.
Aside from it being an asshat thing to say from Sakura's end, it also gave Sasuke a very early impression on Sakura as a character in her own, with her complete disregard for her team partner and lack of trust.
This has followed all the way to Part 2, where Sasuke has yet to still respect Sakura, since it was never shown to him on how she came to respect Naruto as a fellow team partner(since he was not present at the time of Part 2 to see how it became). The next time he saw her was during her attempted and failed assassination of Sasuke, which resulted in her poisoning Naruto instead.
So yeah, until Sakura actually proves to Sasuke that she is actually willing to treat his "one and only friend" in the proper way with his own eyes to behold, which will hopefully happen in The Last, he will not respect her till then.
His love and care needs to be won and earned, not through saying "Sasuke-kun, I love you!
